Dream Logic created two installations for SFMOMA in celebration of 'The Fifth Season' René Magritte exhibit in May. ‘Cloud Ceiling’ featured 50 LED-illuminated clouds, a tribute to the clouds Magritte so often painted.
We took over the museum’s “white box” room, creating an immersive environment using video projection art, light design, and sound.
“To be a surrealist means barring from your mind all remembrance of what you have seen, and being always on the lookout for what has never been.”
- René Magritte
On the museum’s main floor we presented the stunning virtual reality film 'Hovering' created by super-talented LA creative studio 79Ancestors.
‘Hovering’ is a transcendent journey through cycles of extinction and re-birth on a black and white planet set in motion to the music of Shigeto.
Constructed from physical elements digitally-scanned in nature, this surreal and gorgreous VR experience transports viewers through an imaginary landscape.
